"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever" (Hebrews 13:8). When the Lord Jesus rose from the dead, then later ascended into heaven, His body was immortal, no longer subject to death--yet it was a physical body, capable of being seen and heard and touched, even capable of eating with His disciples. He was clearly recognizable, yet could quickly ascend from earth to heaven and could pass through a solid wall. As He ascended, two angelic messengers said: "This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven" (Acts 1:11). He was immeasurably different after His resurrection, yet Peter could also proclaim "that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ" (Acts 2:36).
When science can no longer explain the explainable

"A scorner seeks wisdom, and it is not found, but knowledge is easy to him who understands." Proverb 14:6 Contemporary atheism marches behind the banner of science. It is perhaps no surprise that several leading atheists—from biologist Richard Dawkins to cognitive psychologist Steven Pinker to physicist Victor Stenger—are also leading scientists. The central argument of these scientific atheists is that modern science has refuted traditional religious conceptions of a divine creator. But of late atheism seems to be losing its scientific confidence. One sign of this is the public advertisements that are appearing in billboards from London to Washington DC. Dawkins helped pay for a London campaign to put signs on city buses saying, “There’s probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life.” Humanist groups in America have launched a similar campaign in the nation’s capital. “Why believe in a god? Just be good for goodness sake.” And in Colorado atheists are sporting billboards apparently inspired by John Lennon: “Imagine…no religion.” editorial note: Richard Dawkins is the same man interviewed by Ben Stein in the documentary, "Expelled." When challenged with the mathematical probability of their being on "Intelligent Designer", Dawkins stumbled. Here is, arguably the foremost scientific mind worldwide, admitting his own inability to determine with 100% proof the evidence that there is NO God! What is striking about these slogans is the philosophy behind them. There is no claim here that God fails to satisfy some criterion of scientific validation. We hear nothing about how evolution has undermined the traditional “argument from design.” There’s not even a whisper about how science is based on reason while Christianity is based on faith.
