Such a truth may be difficult to understand with our finite minds, but (like Paul) “we are bound to give thanks” that we who believe today, like the Thessalonians believers then, have been both “chosen . . . in Him before the foundation of the world” (Ephesians 1:4), and also “called out of darkness into His marvelous light” (I Peter 2:9).

"Now the God of peace be with you all" (Romans 15:33). Our God of all the world has been known by many names in Scripture (Elohim, Jehovah, Adonai, etc.), but He is also identified, especially in the New Testament, as the God of many virtues and graces.
