Christians are Called Before Birth

And so it was with all the human writers of the Bible. God’s Word (like Christ Himself) is both human and divine, yet meeting all our needs. This is mysterious indeed, but well within the capabilities of our omnipotent and gracious Creator.

The saint has been found “worthy” to have his name confessed before the Father, not because of an actual “work” of confessing his Savior before men, but because the heart attitude of he who confesses the Savior is a heart of faith that leads to salvation – that Jesus, the Christ is God and has raised from the dead to give life to all who will repent and call upon Him

“When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously. . . . that prophet shall die” (Deuteronomy 18:22,20).

“Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanishes away.” James 4:13-17

This is an amazing prophecy not only that Jerusalem, which was then in ruins, would become a burden to the whole world, but that ALL of Israel’s neighbors would be united against her. They have fought one another in the past. Yet today, for the first time in history, “all the people round about” are united by ISLAM to destroy Israel.

This unusual name for a well means “well of the living one who sees me.” The chapter deals with Hagar when she fled from Sarai’s presence (v.6). The “angel of the LORD,” like a shepherd, found Hagar by a well in the wilderness (v.7). This is the first explicit reference in Scripture to the Lord’s messenger—the “angel of the LORD.”
So Called Christians Ignorantly Denouncing Israel

We summarily reject any “theology” that replaces God’s everlasting covenant concerning the land of Israel with the “church.” God has NOT cast away His people and we, the Gentile believer are grafted in by faith to Israel’s hope – Yeshua of Israel.
The Lords Controversies

Now, if God has a controversy with His own people, what of other nations? God will seek reconciliation with His own backslidden people, but the God-despising nations of the world face utter destruction. “A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, He will plead with all flesh; He will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD. . . . And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other” (Jeremiah 25:31,33).

Because Christ is God, this “gospel of Jesus Christ” (Mark 1:1) is surely the one true “gospel of God” (Romans 1:1). This is the gospel which we have been commissioned by Christ to preach “to every creature” (Mark 16:15), so we need no other.
Jesus and the Four Thieves

All were thieves, deserving punishment. One was a betrayer, ending his life in suicide; one was a beneficiary, though only for a time; one was a berater, destined for hell; but one was a believer, receiving salvation and eternal life. Jesus, who received the penalty for thievery, can save even the thief, for He came “that they might have life, and . . . have it more abundantly.”

Raining cats…
“The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to reserve the unjust for a day of judgment, to be punished, and especially those who walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise dominion. They are darers, self-pleasing; not trembling at glories, speaking evil.” II Peter 2:9-10
Building superintendent Daniel Ambaye told the Toronto Sun he found the cat in a messy apartment its owners had abandoned in Mississauga. He spotted the black and white cat in a bedroom as he surveyed the mess, and said he backed away so as not to frighten it.
Then, he heard a “terrible, loud screeching noise” as the cat went out the unscreened window.
Ambaye said he expected the worst when he got to the ground, but the cat was lying dazed and injured, clutching a piece of branch that had broken its fall.
He said he took the cat inside and cleaned its wounds and called animal authorities. However, he said it took more than half an hour before the cat would let go of the branch, he told the Sun.
The Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals picked up the cat, and spokeswoman Alison Cross said it would survive.
Meanwhile, she said charges will be filed against the people who abandoned it.
